About me
Hi, I'm Amit Sharma, an Analyst with an MA in Business Economics. I enjoy turning raw, messy data into insights
people can actually use, and I'm the sort of person who keeps digging until I find the pattern a dataset is trying to
show me.
I build end-to-end projects to sharpen and demonstrate exactly this kind of thinking, from workforce analysis and customer
segmentation to dashboards covering call center performance, retail, real estate, airline reviews, and even my own Spotify
listening history. Building them means writing complex Tableau calculated fields or Excel functions like INDEX-MATCH,
nested IFs, XLOOKUP, and PERCENTILE.INC to get the data to do what I need. Good analysis, to me, is as much about asking
the right question as it is about finding the answer.
That same curiosity carries into my research. My data-driven study, Economic Implications of Armed Conflict, looks at
how armed conflict affects economies across the Middle East and North Africa, using education systems as the lens.
I'm currently looking for a role where I can bring that same curiosity to a team's data and decisions.
